Hello October

I love the start of  new season - although I'm a lover of the warmer months, there is something about the start of proper autumn that speaks to my earthy soul - changing colours on the leaves, shmooshing through the damp fallen offerings on a damp afternoon in the woods, the pre dawn hush of an early morning mist, scarves, gloves, hot chocolates, fires. And all the excitement of Halloween and Bonfire Night to come. Oh, yes, I'm happy to say Hello October!
